Survey! Tell Us About Your RMM Tools

On my SMB Roadshow, I have a section where we talk about the tools you might use to deliver and manage "managed services" and "cloud services." Obviously, a remote monitoring tool is central to that.

I thought it would be useful to find out what YOU are using for remote monitoring and patch management. Please fill out this quick form. If you choose to enter your email, I'll make sure you get the final results.

Some fields are required, but not your email address.

Please fill out the form - and send a link to your I.T. friends on Facebook, LinkedIn, Reddit, ASCII, etc. The more responses we get, the better!

Survey closes at end of day May 31st, 2017.

NOT sponsored by a vendor.

Remember: I promise to never sell, loan, or rent your email address to anyone for any reason.

Thanks.
- Karl P.

  1. Note: This is NOT a vendor-sponsored survey. A friend asked. It never occurred to me to do a vendor sponsored survey. :-)
    Oh well.

    Hi Karl:

Excellent survey — looking forward to seeing the results!

Is it possible to allow people to pick more than one RMM tool? Auvik's network infrastructure RMM, for example, works well in combination with an endpoint RMM solution like Continuum or ConnectWise Automate.

(Thanks for including us on the list.)

  3. Good question Jennifer - We use N-able (for bushes clients) and Labtech for residential

Look forward to the results. If anything, I would like to see more emphasis put on the staff at the various vendors. I have poor experiences with 3 vendors, which is why using Continuum is the right choice for us. I would use them if the technology was less competent (no really). And they respond well to the MSP's when developing new offerings.

  5. Next time, Jennifer!

Odd that I hadn't thought of that since I ran two RMM tools in parallel for more than a year.

I'll have to do this again in a year or so.

    Thanks for the input.

Please promote the survey if you can.
