Hey, Karl!
ReplyDeleteYou've written an amazingly brilliant copy. :)
BTW,
if you're a productivity tool expert, take a look at this one and let me know what you think.
This is the funniest thing I've seen all week. And what makes it even FUNNIER, is that it's so true!
ReplyDeleteTrue story...
About 10 years ago, I was flat broke. So broke that I could only afford the essentials: rent, food, water, electricity. I was forced to sell my television and cancel cable.
An amazing thing happened. My productivity doubled. My quality of life skyrocketed - even without increasing my income.
Now, a decade later, I'm making six figures, own my own business, and have the family I had always dreamed of. I honestly believe I owe it all to getting rid of my television.
These days, I watch about 3 hours of television a week. Sometimes I don't watch any - I can take it or leave it, and my life is richer for it.
Hey Karl,
ReplyDeleteI cracked up when I saw this.. I have never laughed so hard in my life. and as Bradley said its so true, that's what makes it so good..
I went to the store today and bought a different type of productivity tool (it was cheaper than yours, and times are tough.. :-) Now I just have to figure out how to pick up all the pieces after smashing the TV to bits)

Karl,
ReplyDeleteI am a bit confused. As you know, I signed up for your partner program so that I could provide my customers with The Super Amazing Productivity Tool. I have got to say, it's as good as you claim it is. But I have one problem (read on).
Your marketing materials and collateral were wonderful. I sent them to a direct mail list of 500 cold prospects and actually got a 10% response rate! I was floored.
Once I get to my customer's home, I am not really sure what's wrong, and the materials provided in your partner startup kit are anything but clear on the actual sales call.
I figured the best way to prove the value of your amazingly devised product would be to show it to the customer. I usually insist on demonstrating how it works. About this time, the customer abruptly kicks me out. I have even had the police called several times.
They just don't understand.
Please help me, Karl! I want so desperately to succeed, but I don't get why my customers end up so furious with me once they see how well your product works!
HELP!
