Plus you get lots of internal-use licenses with a Silver competency: Between 1 and 15 copies of each of the following (and 15-100 user licenses for most).

Microsoft Business Contact Manager 2010
Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack 2011 R2 (does not include Asset Inventory Service)
Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 CALs
Microsoft Dynamics CRM Server 2011
Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 Enterprise
Microsoft Forefront Protection 2010 for Exchange Server
Microsoft Forefront Protection 2010 for SharePoint
Microsoft Forefront Threat Management Gateway 2010 Enterprise (per processor)
Microsoft Lync Server 2010 Enterprise
Microsoft Office Multi-Language Pack 2010
Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010
Microsoft Project Professional 2010
Microsoft Project Server 2010
Microsoft Project Server 2010 CALs*
Microsoft Search Server 2010
Microsoft SharePoint 2010 for Internet Sites Enterprise
Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010
Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 Enterprise CALs (include Standard CALs)*
Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Enterprise
Microsoft System Center 2012 Standard
Microsoft System Center 2012 Configuration Manager Client ML*
Microsoft System Center Endpoint Protection
Microsoft System Center 2012 Client Management Suite Client ML
Microsoft System Center Essentials 2010 - Client ML
Microsoft System Center Essentials 2010 - Server ML Enterprise
Microsoft System Center Essentials 2010 Management Server
Microsoft Visio Professional 2010
Windows 7 Enterprise*
Windows HPC Server 2008 R2 Suite*
Windows MultiPoint Server 2011 CALs*
Windows MultiPoint Server 2011 Premium*
Windows Rights Management Services (RMS) CALs for Windows Server 2008*
Windows Server 2008 CALs (not edition specific)*
Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard or Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise
Small Business Competency
Windows Server 2008 Terminal Services CALs*
Windows Small Business Server 2011 CALs*
Windows Small Business Server 2011 Essentials
Windows Small Business Server 2011 Standard
Windows Web Server 2008 R2
Microsoft Business Contact Manager 2010
Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack 2011 R2 (does not include Asset Inventory Service)
Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 CALs
Microsoft Dynamics CRM Server 2011
Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 Enterprise
Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 Enterprise CALs (include Standard CALs)*
Microsoft Forefront Protection 2010 for Exchange Server
Microsoft Forefront Protection 2010 for SharePoint
Microsoft Forefront Threat Management Gateway 2010 Enterprise (per processor)
Microsoft Forefront Threat Management Gateway Web Protection Service
Microsoft Lync Server 2010 Enterprise
Microsoft Lync Server 2010 Enterprise CALs*
Microsoft Lync Server 2010 Plus CALs*
Microsoft Lync Server 2010 Standard CALs*
Microsoft Office Multi-Language Pack 2010
Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010
Microsoft Project Professional 2010
Microsoft Project Server 2010
Microsoft SharePoint 2010 for Internet Sites Enterprise
Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010
Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Enterprise
Microsoft System Center 2012 Configuration Manager Client ML*
Microsoft System Center Endpoint Protection
Microsoft System Center 2012 Client Management Suite Client ML
Microsoft System Center Essentials 2010 - Server ML Enterprise
Microsoft System Center Essentials 2010 Management Server
Microsoft Visio Professional 2010
Windows 7 Enterprise*
Windows MultiPoint Server 2011 CALs*
Windows MultiPoint Server 2011 Premium*
Windows Rights Management Services (RMS) CALs for Windows Server 2008*
Windows Server 2008 CALs (not edition specific)*
Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard or Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise
Windows Small Business Server 2011 CALs*
Windows Small Business Server 2011 Essentials
Windows Small Business Server 2011 Standard

(This list cut very short in order to fit into the comments limits of Blogger.)

See the link above about the competency and download the pdf on benefits.Karl W. I think you may have overlooked the fact that you can run your business on the Action Pack software but you cannot do that with the Technet software (unless there has been a change to the rules that I have not seen). Perhaps you could address that point because as an SBSC you could be a part of that programan AND be an Action Pack subscriber. My recollection is that you CANNOT subscribe to the Action Pack if you have a Silver Competency or higher.Bob Nitriohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05642436918841779112noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22311364.post-43885514491084697962012-07-25T11:15:22.261-07:002012-07-25T11:15:22.261-07:00Update on Office 365 exam. Eric Ligman posted a note today on his blog:

"Here is some very exciting news for our partners out there looking to attain the Small Business Competency in the Microsoft Partner Network. For those of you that have participated in any of the online meetings we have been conducting about the Small Business Competency or who attended Worldwide Partner Conference in Toronto with us, you heard us say that we have heard the feedback from partners regarding the 70-323 required Office 365 exam that is currently required for the Small Business Competency. We heard your input about the 70-323 Exam being too focused on Enterprise scenarios of Office 365 that you as Small Business partners often do not encounter. Because of this, we are releasing a new 74-324 Exam: Administering Office 365 for Small Business, which will be based on a training course specifically designed to meet the needs of partners administering O365 for small business customers."

See his blog: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/mssmallbiz/archive/2012/07/25/new-74-324-exam-coming-for-small-business-competency-to-replace-70-323.aspxKarl W.
